Cal getting blasted on twitter for post-game interview

Just hater fuel for the mass butthurt fires that are raging out of control tonight.

The very first thing Cal did tonight was to praise the effort of Notre Dame and if these jackass haters had an actual clue,
they would know we did play particularly poor tonight on defense and got roasted repeatedly on pick and rolls
and their guards getting to the rim on blown defensive plays and being late to rotate/react.

What should be blasted on Twitter are half-wits trolls who don't know the game, commenting on something they will never understand.

Hello trolls, I hope your inflamed lava-dripping *** lips can't be quenched with a case of medicated cooling *** rags.

Suck it haters!

Twitter and social media are the bane of humanity. Gives too many of these spineless little jerk offs a platform to spew their garbage.

Notre Dame was the first team this year to take UK to the wire without UK playing an awful game.

UK played like a B- game, ND played great, and ND almost won.

But do they really think that this ND squad, solid as it is, comes within seconds of beating the most dominant team in nearly 2 decades if they are playing their best? Try a little logic once in a while.

Anybody who listened this week knew Cal was responding to Brey saying earlier that ND had played more tight games against better teams then UK.

Where are all the haters when teams trash talk? Cal said nothing wrong and he did give ND credit. How many coaches would ask his fans to give the opposing team a hand for the game they played?

It doesn't make any different what Cal says, he's going to get blasted for anything he says... He's been saying these teams play great, does he ever get any publicity for that.... If I was him, I wouldn't care what I said.....

Those are some of the dumbest comments I've ever seen. We didn't play well and they did but we pulled it out. What's the guy supposed to say?

I have a problem with this and I'm taking it to Facebook. I'll start a poll and I'll let you know my opinion in a few days once I analyze the results.

Great job, both of you. I'm not about sick though. I threw it up, and moved on a while back.

All the Media and Experts has said about the SEC and how weak the Conference is and no wonder UK went 18-0 in the SEC! They tend to forget that we played one of the toughest OOC schedules this year with beating Kansas by 32, UCLA 41, and UNC by 14, and UL by 8. I really believe Coach Cal has heard some of these comments made in last 2 weeks by Media and is just tired of it. Then on top of that Coach Cal has to always hear about the Negative Comments about himself during the week from the Media as a College Head Coach. What I took from the interview he was giving props to ND but Coach Cal is just tired of hearing about his 38-0 team that doesn't get the praise they deserve from the Media. Interview had nothing towards ND in a bad light at all.
Also played other Tourney teams Providence,Buffalo,Ole Miss,Arkansas,LSU,Georgia,Texas, plus as you said North Carolina,Louisville,Kansas, and UCLA

Show me another team that played this many different Tourney teams and went UNDEFEATED

A bunch of Sour Grapes LOSERS and Haters out there can ALL GO TO HELL and boycott CBS after the Tourney

They are upset by the first line spoken by our coach right after the heat of battle? What a bunch of whiny, crybabys!!!

Cal also said:

"What a job Notre Dame did today," Calipari told the crowd over a microphone. "Why don't we give them a hand. What a great basketball team."

Feel better now? Go home and cry to your mommies...

I saw this article this morning on the internet and was surprised. Cal was completely accurate in his post game comments. In watching Kentucky this year I agree they played poorly compared to their normal game. They couldn't defend the pick and roll (although at times we have seen this such as LSU or even a lousy Florida team getting easy drives). But, from the start, I thought Kentucky (especially the Freshman including Towns in the first half) played tight. WCS other than a dunk on an offensive board, was providing no offense, and Lyles was trying but missing quite a few shots, Aaron was missing badly, and Ulis was not being aggressive. I did think Lee brought energy but was benched for lack of rebounding (although he had that great put-back). The second half was better for Kentucky on offense but the defense still lacked until the last few minutes. Our depth again played a positive factor in wearing down Notre Dame.

I also thought Notre Dame played tough and excellent and did a great job on the boards which surprised me. So, the comments were not off base.

Yeah that is what I am saying too. They are criticizing Cal but where is the backlash on Brey for his big proclamation that they are America's team. It is ridiculous the bias that Cal receives

What coach Cal said was 100% accurate. If the truth hurts then I suppose some people are just going to have some pain.
