Cal doeant call timeout on D

[RACdad]

I know thats his philosophy and i agree with it. But man!!! I wished he would have. Fox just let that kid run up court, then Briscoe watched May run by him.

[bigc45157]

That allows them to set up a play.

It happens. Cal got this team to play at an elite level by the end of the year.

We didn't have a timeout

Yes we did.

[ukwazoo]

I thought Cal did well today. His seniors (not Hawkins) didn't show

[RACdad]

We didn't have a timeout

We had 1 left

[NCukcat62]

Cal took Humphries. Screw cal

[RACdad]

Im not blaming Cal at all. If Monk would have applied more pressure i dont they get a good shot off

[Real Deal 2]

The possession with the run out was the one that hurt. Looking back if we could have played defense and maybe got out with 1 point deficit with about 12-17 second left.
We didn't really need to over play and allow the run out. I would have rather made them shoot a hard shot and maybe rebound down 1

[jrpross_rivals]

The no timeout could go either way. Hindsight is 20/20 of course. But they had to be ready to run down & defend and they just weren't.

it played out perfect. pinson has the ball and not berry or jackson. if you are the opposing coach you take that 100% of the time. kid made an 18 footer to win.

[Shaudylo]

If we called timeout and they scored folks would whine that he called a timeout . Just an unfortunate ending man

[On-On-UK_rivals45415]

Make a few free throws and we're not having this discussion...

If you don't want to call timeout fine. But why be in the all court press. Back off and try to get a stop

[jcmc225]

They played that killed us was Monk letting Jackson run full court for a layup (that he traveled on).

They threw the ball in right way it's not like the players had time to get back and set up on defense

[HenryMuto]

I was fine without a timeout being called the kid hit a 19 footer so be it. Just wish it missed and we are playing OT right now.

[KY Long Rifle_rivals381398]

If he misses that shot, we are glad no timeout was called. But, he hit it. That's how it goes in a tight game. Sometimes you get the breaks, sometimes you don't.

[Brooklyn to BBN]

the kid hit a bs shot..it happens

[Blue wood]

Cal took Humphries. Screw cal

Man,everybody on this board probably wishes your dad would have pulled. But hey people make mistakes

Yeah dude me too.

[JBHolmesfan]

If he calls timeout and UNC gets the same look people would be all over him.
