Yeah...sucks. Inconsistent. Would have been nice to have a guard like Nowell at the point though.

I had a feeling before the game that Reeves and Toppin would go cold. Especially reeves because he’s been streaky and hasn’t put together back of back really good games all season. I just never imagined he would be THAT bad. and then knowing that if he just had his NORMAL let down game…like even the 4-17 vandy game or w/e it was would have been good enough this time…we would still be playing. Just unbelievable at this point. As fans we can’t catch a break anymore.

Don't be so harsh. Cal has moved us comfortably to the aluminum standard.

Aluminum:
Pliable, flimsy, lower in value than precious metals, and easily dented with only moderate force.

But pieces of aluminum can survive the weather over time fairly well and resist rust.

And, if polished carefully, UK's aluminum veneer sometimes shines like the golden days of old....sufficient to attract the patronage of of enough fans & boosters and the attention of enough talent to: 1) win more than we lose (short of title contention), 2) pay millions to a coach with misaligned priorities, 3) get played by scholarship players who choose not to play, and 4) make the pretense we're still an active blue blood program.

Cal and AD have us on a parallel (downward) course to Indiana...just a decade behind.

A rudder shift and course correction are in order.

GBB!
More like 3 and half decades behind lol.
