In 70 years of following the UK
basketball team, this was the first time I didn’t watch just because I didn’t care. It’s called apathy.

I don’t understand these comments. You were pumped when Mark Coury was our starting center and Michael Porter our PG? I absolutely am apathetic right now but I feel exactly like I did Tubbys last 2 years and BCG’s last couple months. It was time for them to go when I felt this way, but this sure isn’t a new feeling.

This.

In his defense he can find better things to do than watch sports in his golden years. It's just mindless entertainment.

In 140 years of reading this forum I've never read a dumber comment Ron.

Love you, Merry Christmas

JFC...can you stop with the drama. You seriously read like "Days of our lives..."

Take a break
For posting something that ACTUALLY happened EXACTLY the way I posted it????!!!!

This team is not playing as well as ALL of us expected. When I see something like what Jacob did tonight. I will MOST DEFINITELY post it.

The "drama'" isn't coming from me, I'm just reporting it.

Cal has created this "Days of our Lives" soap opera.

He’s talking about Wallace when Cal screamed at him after making a wide open 3 early in the shot clock. I hate him. Hate hate hate him.
God it better not be. That’s a “this isn’t the university of Jodie Meeks” type moment if so. The announcers were commenting on an exchange between Wallace and Cal after that 3

Oscar was selfish defensively. Cal described the plays Oscar failed to close out high hand....just got sprayed 4x.

Toppin was on one tonight with Ware.

Laughable what he said about Wallace's FT mental block. "Just don't get fouled". Agreed. Also--don't turn your damn feet towards the sidelines and maybe you'll nail them.

Drama?!?!? It was so blatantly obvious that a number of people noticed it. Ever since they've both been here, they've appeared nearly inseparable on the floor & on the bench. So when this happened tonight right after Ware took his minutes & starting spot on national TV on Saturday it's a much bigger thing. But yeah it's just "drama" gtho, nobody is making it up for ***** and giggles

Toppin has had attitude all year. Even big blue madness he had a smartass answer and rolled his eyes when the reporter asked “how’s it feel to make History winning a dunk contest without dunking in the final round”…that carried over to flexing and posing after every possession early in the season….and then his “some guys haven’t shown up and are scared (paraphrasing)” comment throwing teammates under the bus 5 games into the season after he got abused defensively all game. Hell, UCLAs whole game plan was to pick
On him in ISO.

He thinks he has earned his brothers fame. He’s basically Patrick Mahomes little brother

Toppin hasn't achieved anything so far. He's not even the best player, second best player, third best player, etc on THIS team. THIS team.

Just think, we could've had Bryce Hopkins starting at the 4 instead. Sigh.

Unreal. It's about doing it his way no matter what. He would have been okay with Lance or Toppin throwing up a contested 19. Footer with 2 seconds on the shot clock versus a made 3.

Yep, it’s truly mind boggling. I swear he just doesn’t give a F anymore and is going out with guns blazing. It’s the only thing that makes any sort of sense when it comes to his lineups and refusal to change anything offensively or defensively. That or he’s mentally ill.

Calipari reminds me of a boss I know. He loved dreaming and coming up with big ideas about his business but, hated the day to day mentoring required to make his business successful. He preferred going out and doing pet projects instead of the hard work necessary to make his operation efficient and profitable. Calipari is a recruiter, first and foremost and is the best at getting talent. But, he really needs to hire another coach to run the day to day operations to make the team successful.

These guys are not playing as a team because they do not fully understand their roles and their expectations do not line up with the coaching staff’s - at least that is the way it appears to me. He better get this group on the same page or this could be another short season.

Not just that-it can happen at times--but he blew him off and knew Ware extended his hand and Toppin obviously was blowing him off.
Well if he blowing him off then no sense in smacking hands. They should do that stuff over at the lodge. Serious though they used to be pretty tight when they was coming off the bench together last yr. I think Toppin has had a different attitude this year and way before last night. He thinks cause Obi told him he could make it that he automatically is gonna make it to the league and he will make it to the league... Over in Japan 😂! Ware seem like a good dude. Idk anything about them personally though so that's just my opinions.
