Clark is absolutely incredible, but her team isn’t that great.

Shows you how far one great player can take you, but also shows that there can be limits. She can’t beat LSU by herself.
Well they put their second best player on the bench about 3 minutes into the game or four.

Because the game nobody ever watches really benefits from over officiating.

Mulkey is one hell of a coach. For one thing, she looked into the game and not sitting on her *** like Staley did the entire game. Staley was deer in headlights rattled Friday. When a team is playing 10 yr old rec level defense and you refuse to let your players shoot-be it the 3 or dribbling up to shoot a 15 footer, you are a hack coach. She also never got physical with Clark. Didn't take momentum altering timeouts and coached like a hack. Mulkey was a masterclass in how to coach today. Better team won and better coach won.

Happy for Mulvey in that she left a great, successful program that she built (Baylor, 3 titles), and went and rebuilt LSU and delivered a title there. She is a tough, old school style basketball coach who just happens to be a woman.

Disappointed Reese didn't show a little more class at the end. I'm ALL for celebrating, but not disrespecting your opponent. You could see the talent gap between these clubs. Clark didn't deserve any disrespect for her efforts in this tourney. She carried Iowa on her back.

Best team won today.

Welp once again turns out I'm right. Of course a player is going to make shots and miss shots. Now that everyone seen this she'll be forgotten. Lol nothing special.
