The new “fans” of WNBA and the attention they get from social media is all about the abuse to CC. But it is getting really old already.
There is probably a bounty system out on her. It amazes me but doesnt surprise me how bitchy the players are.

I think women are a jealous bunch. The WNBA is pushing thier cash cow hard and adjusted the TV schedule accordingly. But instead of marketing all thier new stars to try to make it look good. They plastered the Indiana Fever on every prime network channel they could score with. So it's every teams Super Bowl.
Therefore . it's a complex answer.. they most likely are associating the fact that she is a straight white female with the uneven spread of support.
I also agree that she is positioning them to make alot of money.

I also don't think they are targeting her solely on the fact she’s white. They don't go after Stewart, Delle Donne, Plum like that. Unfortunately the WNBA pissed these women off. Rational let the court.
The WNBA players definitely agree. It looks like they don't appreciate all of the exclusive benefits this young lady has been getting without what they feel as putting in the work.
Women are salty vs other women period especially these young rookies.
Angel Reese got choked slammed in live action onto the court. This was a love tap in comparison. If you want to say it's a race issue then please tell Diana Taurasi ....she is the one who basically called open game on these talented young rookies.
Nobody fouls her like that, or any of the other white players not named Caitlin Clark(Of which i am a fan).

Jealousy has a lot to do with it because the rook has made more people pay attention to a league dominated by minorities that has been playing for a long time and most people couldn't care less about it.

I watched a lot of girls church league basketball when my daughter was playing. My daughter was a mean brute under the basket and I liked that. I watched a girls high school game once. Pretty sure that was it for me.

The only reason I have ever watched a women 's basketball game on tv is because of Caitlin Clark . I use to watch some of the Clemson girls play when in Clemson because it was free during Corvid .
