I was discussing with some friends who was going to be good in C1 this year. We came up with Ashland, Kearney Catholic, Pierce, Omaha Concordia, Milford, Auburn. Any other teams with a lot of players back that are going to be good?

I realize the jump in class form C2-C1 could present a possible obstacle, but Clarkson-Leigh brings a lot back including one of their best players who I believe was out most of last season. I also think that Yutan will be very competitive again making the jump from C2-C1 as well.

Pierce graduated 4 senior I believe, but I'm sure they'll get better as the year goes on. I'd add Wahoo & Wayne to the mix as well.

Didn't realize Clarkson-Leigh is C1 this season. Crazy how they can be 8 man D1 in football then C1 in basketball.

doesn't really compute, they are 61 for Boys BB enrollment but have declared 8-man for next cycle ? how is this ? I know they could have one big class but that a huge difference of just 14 boys let alone girls in one class

Last cycle for football classification their number was 47 which was right at the cutoff and made them eligible for 8-man playoffs. Now they have a 2 year exemption for a cycle where they are still eligible no matter what their number is. Could be a couple big boy classes stacked together

They were at 47 last football classification so can stay 8 man for next 2 years and get 2 year exemption.
