I've had it about a week, but my thoughts:

The internet is straight fire. I'm getting 400/400 on my wireless bands.

TV: It's real meh right now. The guide is fine to use, but remember you have to scroll to each channel (or use voice search on Apple TV Gen 4), so you can't type a direct number to jump to that channel.

The DVR use is well below average. When you set it to record a show, it will record every episode of that show regardless whether it's new or a re-run, and you can't tell it either or, or both. It also won't cap the number of episodes of a show it will hold, and its very convoluted to get into the recordings to either watch and/or delete episodes. I know they're restricted on the amount of buttons available to them from Amazon/Apple's hardware, but I'm looking forward to regular updates of the CSpire TV app, hopefully.

I know this will be a dumb question to you young guys. My wife and I are about to change/upgrade our "bundle". We now have access to C-spire in our neighborhood. I've been a satisfied C-spire wireless customer for many years and would like to do more business with them because we like them and hate Comcast but the numbers aren't adding up to make a change unless we can figure out a big plus to having all of that internet speed. In short, what will all that high speed do for us ? I'm willing to spend more but I'd like to get more too. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure about this? We have cSpire at our house and you hit the guide button, which brings up the guide listing and then if you punch in the number, it goes right to it. We don't use it, but you can set up your own personal channel listing that allows you to specify which of the hundred+ channel options the menu will show on your selection listing, or take you to the full listing menu.

When you ask the DVR to record, it brings up a menu that allows you to specify 1 up to 10 showings, or all showings. Then the next option is to specify new only or all. you can set this when you first set it to record, or go back later and change it. There is a menu that allows you to show in order by date recorded, or alphabetical order what you have already recorded and what is set to record and you can delete any recording already made, or yet to be made, simply by punching the red button to delete it.

I do not find it convoluted at all, but I am a young 67 years old, so I have the mental agility of youth going for me. The 1400 channel options on your menu has video presentations that will teach you most of these things, or just ask and I will talk you through them.

Again, I apologize and I know this is a dumb question to some but "untouchable" in what way. I'm afraid our needs are just not as such we have a way to take advantage of their Fiber but if I can figure out some things it'll do for us, I'll buy it. That's where I need some help...what will it do that we're not doing now ?

Our kids/grandkids visit and when they do, we may have five or six computers going in the house, all on wireless. there is no drop off in speed at all. For downloading Netflix, there is no slowdown at all. It never goes into buffering on us. We have never had any problem at all with weather interference or high usage peak usage slowdowns or any speed problems at all.

We have at some point had everyone's service (Comcast/AT&T/Local Cable providers) and CSpire leaves all of them in the dust.

You have CSpire TV 1.0. This is the new version..no set top boxes

It's exclusively through an app delivered via Apple TV Gen 4 or Amazon Fire TV/Fire stick.

We only have 25mbps speed and last weekend had an Apple TV streaming, a Roku TV streaming and 4 cell phones using WiFi at the same time w/ no problem and it's $50/mo. You don't have to pay for blazing speeds for average use
