Bye week before playing Alabama...

[Maroon Eagle]

At least we have that going for us. **

For whatever reason, Leach isn't that good after the bye week.

It won’t matter.

I wish it was after Bama.

[patdog]

Well, he won't be getting any better at it this year.

What week was Slo Mo Joe goon at then?

[RiverCityDawg]

We beli... ah, never mind.

[ArcherSPS]

When have we ever been “that good” after a bye week in our history lol

[22yardpunt]

Bye week before Bama when we play at Bama = waste of a bye week

[Pilgrimdawg]

Can’t wait to see how Leach reacts when Alabama gets protected by the zebras. By now I am sure that he has heard about it, but when reality sets in...... should be interesting.

Will he give out BBQ?

We get extra prep time for LSU and Bama neither of which extra prep time is going to help much.

I read a tweet where Leach sent in a request for it and it was approved? Can’t find the tweet again, probably bs, but I’ve never heard of anything like that before.

WIth the way he focuses on execution of the same handful of plays, I'm guessing a bye week doesn't help his offense that much. So it's just extra rest and reps for hte offense and then whatever it helps the defense do.

I am guessing when our opponents have a bye week before us it will help their defense? Be interesting to watch.

I mean if we're being honest, Egg Bowl week.

3 things are certain for MSU fans: 1)Death, 2)Taxes, 3)Losing to Alabama.

Was he good at Egg Bowl week? Or did he just benefit from a big enough talent gap that the difference between his coaching and Matt Luke's didn't make a difference?
