Now that his rehab is done, he is transferring to Duke to be the starting center for their next championship team.

I may be in the minority, but I blame Pope for this mess! He was a long shot to play anyway, he should have been taken with a steep discount (maybe $500k) and if he plays then it’s just a bonus. Otherwise he makes money and has the opportunity to rehab.

This is what pissed me off most about Calipari. And it more than anything else has made me realize Pope isn't the guy.

With Sharpe, Cal fed us BS all year long. And as a taxpayer, you better give it to me straight why we're wasting resources on Sharpe when he said he wouldn't play for us. At least come out and explain the decision; I probably won't like it, but I'll respect it.

With Pope, he needs to explain the contract we gave JQ, discuss whether he was cleared with a independent doctor, and how much JQ's dad was involved. And if JQ was held out because his dad didn't want him to play even though he was medically cleared, we should have tried to get the money back. But explain all that to us.

LOL, he wasn't hurt.
The burden is on you to prove that. If it turns out he wasn't hurt then I'll join the hate parade but you have no proof that he didn't reinjure himself. Here's what proof we do have, he played and was incredible off the bat and his draft stock reflected it. Then he played as if he was maybe hurt. He then sat and his draft stock plummeted. Almost as if NBA scouts and GM's had knowledge of a re-injury. We were told as much. But why would NBA brass believe the news and not our fans?
