She is mid 60s with adult children. She was lawyer for nba, helped usa basketball, first admin leader of wnba. I suppose she can consult and would be wanted but why can't she just retire she had a well celebrated career with great accomplishments.

The Presidents and ADs of the 11 member schools sit on the board to choose the next Commissioner. Father Shanley is the Chair of the Board which means Pitino is going to have some sway.

Could you imagine if Felt or the elusive Monsignor Reilly were the Chair? lol

No it’s a NIL problem. Many alums don’t watch pro b-ball. They used to watch college b-ball to support their school AND student athletes/future alums, but not any more. They still support the students & educational funding though.

They support students and educational programs at an appealing anemic rate.
