I plan on going to the Duke at VT game in Blacksburg. I have only been to a few Duke road games and it was always a last minute thing. Knowing this well in advance, anyone know if it's a better idea to go ahead and purchase through an online source now (seatgeek, stubhub, etc.) prices around $150 right now to go that route. Or if prices will drop as we get much closer to February?? Also assuming how great this Duke team is, and how the VT season goes will play into things.

I guess a better way to phrase it. As someone with no direct ties to Duke, who usually goes to 1 or 2 games a year at Cameron but rarely a road game, does anyone with road game experience have any recommendations? Would one believe the price to go up or down between now and February?

It just depends. If VT has a good season then I would assume the price goes up between now and then. For road games my philosophy has always been take the tickets when you have an opportunity.

I've been to VT and Wake games in recent years and I just purchase straight from the ticket office. There prices will be the same regardless.

I live fairly close to VT and my advice is to either call the ticket office or buy outside before the game...either way you go you won't pay anywhere close to $150

Wonderful. Thank you. VT ticket site says tickets won't go on sale until "sometime in early October." Have a feeling the demand there isn't like at Duke, so they can be very vague and I'm assuming I won't have much of an issue.

I would call them everyday in October to make sure you get them
