Maybe, but I don't see Joe fielding a team that will ever be able to pull one of those wins off.
You dont think last season's MSU team could have beaten a Bama team that Croom's team beat? I think last year's MSU team was better.

Who cares they both suck.
And Croom proceeded to lose 8 and 9 games a year. For some perspective on the "talent" comparison: Croom inherited 3 players who were eventually drafted - David Stewart (4th round), Ronald Fields (5th round), and Norwood (3rd round). Moorhead had 5 drafted off last years team - 4 of them higher than anyone Croom inherited. And we have a few more on the roster with a good chance to get drafted over the next 2 years (Danzler, Gay, Hill, Erroll Thompson, Darryl Williams)
The talent level in 2004 was nowhere near what it was in 2018 - regardless of who croom ran off.
Easy Buy. Despite his record on the field, Croom brought order and discipline. And he beat Alabama--twice.

Moorhead won 8 games (yes, he absolutely underperformed). Croom couldn’t win 8 games with the Patriots because he is a dreadful, dreadful coach.
