Reginald Delk was coached up at MSU and has been coached down at Louisville. I buy because Stans mad him a defensive stopper at State along with his ability to shoot. He could flat out put pressure on a three point shooter due to his length. </p>

the talent level at Louisville is that much better at State. And one of the reasons Delk left was because he was going to have reduced playing time.

Richard was clearly the better defender of the two. Reggie was a better defender than Ben and Randy due to his length as you said. His shooting "ability" resulted in him shooting 35% from three and 40% from the line in his last years. He was a good players for us and an afterthought at Louisville, which is representative of the talent gap in a perennial Top 20 team and....well...us.

To sell you would have to clearly believe that the talent level at Louisville is way above the talent level at State. I think it clearly is better, but it doesn't equate to Delk becoming bench warmer, which he has for the most part lately. I think he clearly would be starting for State in Turner's position. I think he makes State a better team this year. He was a good fit in Stan's system. He could shoot and play defense. I think his demise at Louisville is a positive reflection on Stan's coaching ability. I think his success would have proven the opposite. Delk clearly made a mistake, whether you buy or sell.

I think if Hans fails as well you will see this transfer bug go away. JMO

That would put him in a virtual tie with Stewart and Bost, and is pretty solid. Only Ravern is substantially better right now, on the best three-ball team we've had in over ten years.

i dont think that an MSU starter = forgotten player at LVL.

i just think that the Karma Gods decided to swap Brian Johnson's useless self for Delk and made him useless to even the trade out.
