Yeah, I thought Bultler and Oweh settled the team down more when they were on the floor. Without them we were still good, but a little more loosey goosey. Those two are our best drivers to the rim, and when you take that aspect off the floor, better teams may guard us better.

Agreed. I'm eager to see Kerr at PG backing up Butler. I don't think Perry is best used in that position at this point in his career, probably should be more of a mini-Brea for now. But it doesn't hurt to get him some reps at PG in case we need him to step in.

Remember all the “that’s our PG?? We are in trouble if he starts” type posters after his commitment? Even though he has led a team to the title game in his college career
I was hyped when we picked him up. I watched a lot of late night SDSU games and he was one I always liked. Not to mention all the success they had in the tourney.

I want to see him on Sears. Not saying he shuts Sears down. But I think he will make it tough on Sears, making him more average.
Now if we played UNC, I assume Pope would put him on Cadeau, but I'd rather see him on RJ Davis. So any high scoring guard who does a lot with the ball in his hands, more than just a shooter.

Maybe, but because Oweh is also a good defender, it's less of a worry as you have two good defensive options for either Cadeau or Davis.

I spit out my Pepsi on this one
Lol I’m glad I’m not the only one who hits the Pepsi bottle early. I swear you crack a Pepsi at 830 on a Thursday you’ll get more judgment than if you cracked a light beer at the same time.

Oŵeh is just a basketball player by nature, and worker by heart. His game is exactly like Joe Crawford. Except switch the criteria. Joe was a worker by nature and a basketball player by heart. The stats and their credentials pair nicely.

DJ puts the clamps on himself. But totally agree with your post ;)
I can guard DJ Wagner. Just stand all the way to the right of him. He ain't going nowhere until he can dribble with his right hand.

And I'm hoping he spends all season on it and turns into a first round pick and only loses against UK. I really like that kid.

That Butler sho do have some sticky fingers. He will be having teams saying the Butler did on the ball court with the sticky fingers. UK fans get used to saying "The Butler Did It".
