Has anyone every stayed there? Or knows someone who has?
I've always known it was there, but haven't met a single person who's stayed in it.

I have a friend that has stayed in it a couple of times and really likes it.

I know someone - says it's really nice. And he's used to traveling so knows good from bad.

Per their website they aren't open this Fall. The University Police took over a big chunk of the building a few years ago and website says there's only 8 guest rooms now.

I've stayed there for one night once, about five or six years ago. It's nice but not blow your mind nice. It's not like a typical hotel or BnB - there wasn't a breakfast spread or anything. At least not that I remember but I was also pretty focused on the job interview I was going to have that day so it's possible I blocked it out of my memory. But it was certainly convenient being slap in the middle of campus.

I stayed there a while back when I was a state FFA Officer. I concur with FQ, it’s nice but nothing special.

It’s been renovated in the past few years and is fairly nice. Great place to stay on big weekends.

I stayed in in a few years ago when my son was in a baseball tournament in Starkville. It was nice and I would stay there again but as someone said, it is not open now.

I was there for a baseball series this fall. It’s just like staying in a nice Hampton Inn. Can’t beat the convenience.

There are eight rooms, none of which were in the original hotel which was called the Alumni House. They are part of a "new" 2 story addition built soon after campus security was ceded the old guest rooms. The campus security took over the original guest rooms over 25 years ago. I used to stay there regularly for baseball on not premium weekends. The rooms are reserved for big dogs for big weekends for football, baseball and basketball. There was a breakfast the last time I stayed, however limited. I understand the breakfast has expanded unless it was a casualty of the virus. It is very convenient. The last time I stayed was around 2015. The cost was $120 per nite the last time I stayed. I understand they renovated the rooms again (as they are no longer new) or are in the process now.

I've stayed there a handful of times over the years when speaking on campus. I loved it because of the convenience. The rooms are nice enough, sure.
