Raiders coming on strong now that their star, Campbell, is getting healthy. They gonna be a tough up. Gotta add them too legit 1D contenders

Wow. Thought Rye Cove was a challenge to 1A this year. Maybe should play a stronger schedule. Cross over into Tennessee and strengthen schedule.

They've beaten Twin Springs, who many thought were the Region D favorite. They've beaten perennial contender Eastside twice. Sometimes it comes down to match ups and when you deal with teenagers, sometimes you never know what you're going to get. I still say Rye Cove will be in the mix in Region D and I think they at least qualify for the state tournament. Looks like a lot of people, myself included, have not given as much attention to JIB

Looks like JI Burton is likely the cream of the crop in 1D. The question is who will be the 2nd team to advance to state out of 1D. Rye Cove, Eastside, Twin Springs, Honaker, Lebanon, even John Battle and Northwood might have a shot.

I think Burton plays Twin Springs today. That region is definitely a toss up and any number of teams could win the region.

I'd wager significantly that it'll be one of RC/JIB/TS that win 1D. Anyone else would shock me
