Bottom line at the end of the day, whomever has the highest score in this game of football wins 100% of the time, how they got to that higher
score is of no consequence at that point and time...Pretty much sums it upThe Rockets beat the Golden Lions and when you look at why you can whoop

Burns kids are fired up playing with great discipline. Coach Devine doing amazing job with this team.

Shelby had the ball on the 2. Loss of 10 on a sack. 5 yard penalty back to the 17 yardline. 4th and goal from the 13.

Shelby was at the 1... Hard hit on Shelby RB caused a fumble for a 2 yard loss, Burns offsides but then get a 10 yard sack... Both teams take timeouts... Shelby false start... 4th down Shelby at the 12... Shelby goes for it and throw incomplete... Burns takes over

I've got the ktc broadcast ported over to the big screen TV... The blurry picture looks like UCLA is leading Notre Dame 14-0
Shelby may come out and beat us by 50 in the second half. But kudos to the coaches and players so far. They look like a totally different team than 2 weeks ago.
Burns looks good, I'm shocked... Shelby defense has been a little suspect, Burns has gotten both TDs on big chunk plays, a 44 yard pass and a 70 something yard run...
Shelby forgot their offense in the 1st quarter, got going in the 2nd, but the Burns D did a great job of bend but don't break and didn't give up anything...

Dogs playing inspired football.....i can't remember a Shelby offense struggling like this . Kudos to the parent from Lowe's if this holds up.
Couple of thoughts:
Offensive line:; when you can not block a three man front with five players (sometimes 6 when the running back stays back to block), nor score from one yard out on a much smaller defense front speaks volumes about this offensive line issue we are having this year
Burns is dropping 8 in coverage rushing three and still getting pressure on Bess every single time: Crest and Kings Mountain the next two weeks will hurt our QB with this type blocking effort...
this could go one of two ways: we can suck it up and come out and gut out a win in the second half, or prepare ourselves for a very very long season....
either way lets show some effort out there... Burns is...

I think I figured out how Burns is beating Shelby. Shelby Lion has been coaching the upper cleveland youth teams for a while and now those same kids are beating his alma mater. It's Shelby Lions fault.
ROFL ...... They are quite a few of them I had the chance to coach over the years.... great kids
