Good game for the offense. Game plan was a little more aggressive. The new personal on offense looked good. Defense needs to take the FG snapper to dinner for flubbing the snap up.
Jones did great. Heard he asked for the ball all week during practice and proved himself on the scout team. Truly earned it.
Pryor had 200 all purpose yards and 5 TDs. If that wasn't enough, he threw in an interception on defense. Just an outstanding game by him. We opened up the passing game a little more too. During the first half, Hendersonville's offense looked unstoppable, they really have some weapons over there. They'll be a tough out in the playoffs.
What grade is Jones in? I love to see that confidence from a player, he really stepped up last night.

Pryor was a machine, bailed Burns out late in the 4th with that catch. We completely blew a series late in the 3rd quarter when we threw it 3 straight times when it was 2nd & 6 and we were threatening to take a 3 possession lead. Also our broadcasting crew kept talking about the clock stopping when it wasn't suppose to...glad that didn't come back to hurt us. Hendersonville had some good looking kids, this has been a fun series for both teams

Congrats to Coach Devine and Coach Cog and of course all the players who stepped up In a game FULL of big plays one that could get overlooked was Setzer running down the kick returner right before halftime...…..and Pryor is special. I remember in the Jambo as a 9th grader he runs a punt back against Polk Co. With Mitchell leaving the team is on his shoulders and has he ever stepped up.
All the bitching we have done about the offense and we put up 56 lol Now we need to start bitching about the defense. Missed tackles everywhere!!
Jet sweeps and more passing, I like it. All that opened up between the tackles. Less perdictable. I think the defense plays like a prevent defense instead of attack defense. Our linebackers are light in the hindend Dept.
Coach Cog is a friend and a tireless worker who yes should enjoy a hard fought victory. HIs D was one point better than the opponent so that is a W.

Bearcat fan here. Congratulations to Burns for the win. #8 is a terrific player and he is certainly not the only one you have. I wanted to ask about your place kicker. Is he drawing any college interest? Best I've seen in awhile.

The players are a team and the coaches are a team....Im happy for all of Bulldog Nation. It was a great win against a quality opponent.
Thanks man. You guys have some athletes on your side as well. I hope your QB will be OK. He was hobbling a bit in the second half, I think that was a huge difference in the game down the stretch. I'm not sure on our kicker. He definitely has been good this year. He's got a very strong leg and has gotten better every year. I'd like to hear about him too.
LOL at Burns fans. Couldn't find them last year. They play well against ACR in the Jamboree and they flood the message boards. Burns gets blown out against Alexander Central and they are nowhere to be found. They beat Shelby and even more than before come out of hiding. Get blown out by East Rutherford and they want to fire Devine and they avoid everyone like the plague and don't post a word about the upcoming Hendersonville game. They beat Hendersonville and now are going to be talking about this win over a big bad 2A team all week until Ashbrook humbles them again next week. See the pattern?
Who has called for Devine's job on here? There are plenty of Burns posters that have been here for years through the good times and the bad.
