It could get ugly .....maybe we play some younger guys and build for the future.
We tend to struggle when we get to the 25 yd line. Crest will definitely not score 63 like KM did
Crest has last years DE and last years OLB at the RB spots that’s got to be an advantage for Burns
I doubt Crest shuts Pryor down completely. As they say "He will get his" but Crest front will take away the dive and QB. Hopefully Crest offense will begin spreading ball around to play makers, Jefferies, Geter, Greene and Zanders. Crest wins easily
I would not be so quick to hand PRYOR the award, yes he is a great back but KM PAYSOUR is having one great year him self he has already broken most of KM receiving records with two regulars season games left and he is just a sophomore.

The way the Burns defense gives up big chunks up the middle I wouldn't be surprised if we put up 60. Heck we put up 56 on them last year with a less experienced offense.
Geter and Surratt had Int returns for touchdowns and we had punt and kickoff return for tds in last season game
And with the way this Burns team gave it away last week against KM it can get there quick with our guys too. If not for Lloyd calling off the dogs (no pun intended) he could have had 80.
Paysour, maybe the KM QB and Pryor I would say are your top 3 Offensive players of the year. Burns needs to have some long sustaining drives to keep this game within reach. If our O commits a penalty or gets behind the sticks, then we are not built to overcome that. I know we have a kid that putting up outstanding numbers but I am not a fan of the offense.
KM is relentless at pushing ball down field and that will put a bad defense in a bind.
Crest is the opposite and that will keep the dogs in this game for at least a half

Agreed. Not a fan at all of the offense. It's fun to watch Pryor do his thing, but he could have put up similar stats out of the spread, or pro-style offense. We've got a QB that has the potential to throw the ball, but we're not using him to do that. In saying that, it doesn't matter what I think. I support Coach Devine and I believe 100% he is doing what he thinks is best for the program. I don't have to agree with all of the decisions of the coaching staff to be a fan.
I understand that you cannot stop the veer or triple option, just no way around it in HS ball unless you are just physically dominant on the D side of the ball. Too many variables, too many ways to shift and expose Ds.... however, youth and kids these days dont want to play in that kind of offense, everyone wants to spread out and play. Unless you are South point whose kids grow up playing that, and its their tradition, the threat of kids leaving for a different system is possible.

Burns turned it over 9 times. That helped some too.
Youngsters are playing well. Fuller looks good at QB.
I haven’t seen East play this year but I find it hard to believe that any Rutherford County football team can beat Shelby. Even a down year.
