I am not going to kick them while they are down. I don’t have it in me this time. I like to give these goobers on here a hard time, but those kids up there have been through it. They deserve respect for hanging in there, with the injuries and all the changes that have taken place. I can’t make fun of any of that. I expect them to come to the SID and play their hearts out. They’ll leave all they have left, right there, on our grass. I have no doubt about that. Better times are ahead for those young men and that program.


Crest has to finish the job. Can’t get caught looking ahead to what might be. I’ll say it. There is NO reason for Crest to lose this game, but I’ve been around long enough to never, say never. Get on them early and put the foot on their neck. Get them out of there and make it quick.

Go to Church with a couple of the Burns kids... Man they give it all they got week in and week out... One never leaves the field.... feel bad for them and all they've been through this season

If we both take care of business Friday, next week will be a game for the ages.... Two very good teams going at it.. Family against family, friend against friend...as it should be...

Should be a classic, only make us both tougher for the playoffs win or lose....

It's finally caught up to us, our outdated offense and the lack of true talent can't be hid by chop blocks and refs anymore. I hope crest goes 3AA, even though we still have no shot, I'd hate to lose to them 2 times in 1 year, 2 years in a row. I finally understand what my Crest daddy's have been telling me over the years. It don't mean a think if you don't win rings. We're paper champions, flame outs, we're the place where good football players go to die, and you never hear of them again.

This is the worst season I have witnessed as a Burns fan. The 1-10 year was better than this. The kids have heart but it will be ugly Friday.

The Burns talent will return. Everything is cyclical, Burns used to give us a great game every year. It will come back, Crest's talent is going to take a hard hit the next couple of years, but we'll be alright too. Next year I think will be more exciting IMO, I like being the underdog.

Yes this year has been worse than 2008. I wasn't nearly as invested in the program then and didn't go to the away games out of county but I believe the expectations for this year's team were higher than those of the 2008 team.

I LOVE IT!!!! Why has a Crest vs. Shelby thread not been started yet? We should have started one of those at the beginning of the season!

Just to fill you in rulz....Camp came back two weeks ago, game before the bye....against Burns. He had 2 receptions for 103 yards and 2 tds. It was a very nice welcoming back. As far as I know, Hopper is supposed to come back the week we play YOU!

Man that game is gonna be EPIC. We've been playing each other since '68....this will be the biggest game ever because of what we are both bringing into it....(as long as we both handle business this week)...

I heard that Union is dominating elementary ball....sounds like Burns has some talent coming up the pipe. We need them back up....makes CleCo look better!

I knew I could get him stirred up with that dose of truth. Rulz is feeling good after that near Chase debacle. He's looked at the scores from when we played KM and East and has compared it to his beloved Chargers, so he's feeling good. I get it. I haven't even been able to crack on Crest91 after shaking his hand the day after I was cracking on him.
