This would could be a close one like it was last year. I can only go by what I have seen. I think crest escaped friday night. With multiple offensive injuries moving the ball became even harder for Cramer. Take those away and that came was a toss up. With cramer holding their own against crest and km better then most thought they would, does that help them with burns? If they get some guys healthy this could be tough for burns. 28-21 sc

Ignorance. Those refs were a complete joke. Crest banged out big run after big run. Unless the QB makes it back from getting destroyed SC will suck worse than normal. 82 can’t play QB and the backup looks like he’s in a haunted house back there. Holding their own! I hear you. Moron.

Pretty sure you aren't supposed to tackle the d-line. The statue at guard I think it was 68 maybe he got beat all night. "Big run" hell highland tech could break off big runs if they tackled the defense everytime. I know its hard to swallow that sc stood toe to toe with them mighty chargers until injuries bit them but you will be ok.

27-7 is NOT standing toe to toe. You don’t get credit for “kind of being a little annoying to beat” in football

Yes, Crest got lucky, because God forbid SC stops playing sorry pathetic teams like island charter, Lincolnton and EG...and then loses to real teams...three in a row losses is no accident. You just suck

Lol and TC is a better opponent? Yes 3 losses in a row one was a terrible loss to SP the other was close to km team that was supposed to blow them out and on paper should have never been on the field with you guys. 14-7 at the half and the back up throws a pick six and one legit drive in the 4th where you didn't tackle the defense other then that yes toe to toe with the best team in the conference and potential state champ. Look I'm not saying that the game would be the same if they played again all I'm saying is in the game the mattered they stood toe to toe until the injuries on offense got to be too much. And blame it on refs all you want but sc has to be doing something right for yall to be holding like you were. Now for the question I originally asked before crest91 got his feelings hurt. What's the outlook on the burns game with cramer.

Crest had some good years but it's over. They can't beat Weddington. They can't beat half the teams (Sun valley, CCHS, Monroe) in the other conference. They are slow footed and the O-Line is a clown show. Crest loses to Huss. Travels somewhere and getting trashed - flush the toliet.

The dogs need a win in the worst way ......this one is a toss up . What's the word on the Cramer qb? Hate to see any kid miss games due to injury.

Why does losing to Weddington matter? They have been to the state championship twice and won it once in the last 5 years...they have one loss to the defending state champions...Hunter Huss has been around since the 70’s and doesn’t even know what a state championship site looks like lmao.

28-14 burns.

Got a chance to see the SC Crest game. Crest scored very quickly then it appeared the referees did their “job”. That job can only be defined as keeping the game close. That game should have been 48-0. Cramer also plays pretty dirty from what i watched.

Burns should play them tough and should have more athletes than SC. Also depends on the status of SC’s qb. He got banged up against Crest.

Definitely not starting anything but I have heard the same thing... I have also heard that Cramer isnt the best bunch to play in any sport. I have seen bits and pieces with my own eyes but i dismissed it to every sport and school has a few rough ones in the crowd. But I have had some other tell me things that happen anytime they play Cramer in most sports, just curious about their clientele, are they a rowdy area? ...besides being in Gaston County lol

The video of the linemen down field calls were pretty interesting and I have to give Tank credit for keeping his head after what I saw happen to him on video.

Burns can win this game but once again it comes down to the offense staying ahead of the chains. If they string first downs together the offense gets a rythym and is hard to stop and it keeps the defense for Burns from being gassed.

This game is huge for playoff possibilities.

No reason for me to toss another kid under the bus. Just proud of the way 77 responded for Crest and the linemen down field calls were pretty bad.

Fair enough, what about these lineman downfield calls? Crest passing a lot and getting called on it?

Had 3 different calls where they called linemen down field and it wasn't close. Not sure what the official was looking at but it was like he had no idea where the line was. Crest certainly had justifiable penalties in the game, but these were pretty big ones.

I also saw those 3 clips. On each one the crest lineman was 2-3 yds downfield when the ball was released by the QB. Back judge ran to the spot looked left and right and threw his flag. Seemed he didn’t understand the 3 yard leeway lineman have. Lot of us confused by those calls

I agree 100%. We just about have to have a win here. Lose 3 in a row and I am afraid that will just about totally deflate the team. I can't go to this one but will be watching online. Hoping we pull it out.

Tough loss for Burns. Took the lead with 2 mins to play. Defense couldn’t make the big play in the end. With that many points scored defense had to be gassed.

No they shouldn’t have been gassed because Burns Offense dominated time of possession. It was Cramers D that was on the field all night. We just kept giving up big play touchdowns again. Our D is just not good at all this year and this far into the season it doesn’t look like it’s going to improve. We have given up over 40 points every game but one. I think this loss takes the wind out of the entire teams sails. I truly feel sorry for an outstanding athlete like Pryor. That kid plays his Tail off and he deserves to win but I don’t see another win coming this year with our D being like it is.
