I have no control over that because I am just a fan and I am not afraid to say who I pull for. Who is your team, other than ABB (anybody but burns)? I know who you pull for in racing but I am wondering about high school football since, you know, this is a high school football board.
Alot of people do not realize that it cost lots of money to go to these games that are away ,especially a two hour drive.You got kids that has to be with their parents on this Labor Day week end holiday. Some Parents probily have made arrangements to be somewhere else and cannot attend a game played on a Saturday or a Monday for that matter . And you got Players that have to be in school the next day and they would be getting home after midnight if played on Monday. I can see why the Coach did not want to go back and play . Give him a break he's doing whats best for his team and School.. I'm no Burns Fan by no means but I can see why they did not go back . So you Name callers give them some slake.
If the three day weekend means more to Burns than playing the game, they should do the honorable thing and forfeit the game.
Before running off at the mouth maybe all of you should wait to see what the NCHSAA does about the situation.All of you have excuses for what happened or didn't happen.If Burns is having money problems then maybe they shouldn't have rented charter buses.

Last I heard Burns will be coming to Central Cabarrus next year and don't get any of the gate money.
This is non issue for the nchsaa since our kids were on the field ready to play and someone other than our coach said we can't play. I can see it now the next thread is 'burns is broke.' We r not a rich booster club but saying money problems is a stretch. Spider - at least rulz can dis it out as well as take when it comes to junk talk . Some on here get their feelings hurt and cry to mama.....then disappear .
