My grand daughter’s gymnastic team just swept their opponent and they are also enjoying a relaxing drive back home.

Only stop for ice cream when they beat a team in which they weren't supposed to beat.

100% but most didn't throw a 3 hit shutout.A lot of teams have done the same, so not unexpected.
Citadel legend that on a trip to Coastal the team stopped at a spot to eat on the way back.Apparently due to a lack of parking the bus driver parked at the “famed “ Sunset Lodge in Georgetown.The General received a phone call from an exasperated alumni wanting to know what the Citadel baseball team was doing at a wh**re house
hopefully that tamps down the "Hire Monte Lee" crowd for the rest of the year.
I was at the game with just a few dozen other people in the stands. I think there were more Citadel fans there last night than Gamecocks.
This team has no talent despite being a top half NIL spend roster and on top of that there is no heart or hustle. I think we reset the program in the off season. Clear the coaching staff out completely and bring in a whole new roster. I don't think we have a single player that would start for any of the top SEC programs right now.

Well, there are some saying he's shown he can coach, he just needs to get his own players.
Like every coach at every men's sport at South Carolina, he just needs more time.
"needs more time" is functionally equivalent to "wait til next year".
We had runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs twice. Both times they should have been bunted over with the next batter looking to make contact to score 1 run each. Didn't happen and that is how you lose low scoring games.
Interestingly, one of the knocks on Mainieri was that he didn't follow Lee's hitting plans for each game.
Pretty sure they tried to bunt on at least one of those and the player failed to execute.
