I don’t think Vance Joseph would take a college coordinator job, even if his brother is the head coach. He wants another shot as an NFL head coach, so I think he stays in the NFL. He is highly regarded in Arizona, so he could be the successor to Kingsbury if/when he is fired.

I think if Kinsbury got the axe this year, I could see Vance coming to Lincoln as a one and done to help Mickey establish some foundation. I could see him “co” with Busch. I still think Busch gets a shot @ D-Cord if Mickeys hired. Why wouldn’t he? He’s done a good job. Especially if brother Vance comes in to help for a year.

That’s what happens when you hire good assistants.

But I think he wants it more than most. Some guys stay forever even as good assistants because they like the place or college better. He doesn't seem like the guy who wants to be in college forever.
