Yeah, every team sucks if it helps your narrative. This board is exactly the same as it was 6 years ago and every year since. Nebraska has been winning 3-4 games and fans don't like it. So they *****. And... every year there are delusional posters that spend all their time whining about other posters whining.

See that, folks? That is what’s called a statement win. That’s what I was talking about on Thursday night. New coach, new staff, tough opponent on the road. You win those games to establish your identity. Even if CU ends up going 6-6, it doesn’t really matter.

Coach Prime has put them on the map. Hell of a win.

As for Nebraska, yeah no. Next week will be hellish to watch.
at least we have all that media money

TCU ran the ball 7 yards per carry. And threw the ball more times than they ran. They gave Colorado the ball far too many times. They have a smallish defensive line, pound them and pound them. Kendall Briles could have run the ball 50 times in the 2nd half and reduced the number of possessions and win the game. But he chose to throw the ball 42 time and lose.

They have a defense like a old *****.
Three things that make me shake my head.

#1 TCU throws the ball 41 times.

#2 TCU runs the ball for 262 yards. Why not throw it 21 or 31 times and they likely rush for 400+ yards, AND they probably give CU 2 less possessions.

#3. With a 4th and 9 from @ the 40 and 2 timeouts, why do you not call a ******* time out there and get a play that you're not calling on the seat of your pants? Hell, if you don't make it there, its game over, that last time out does zero good.

And Colorado won. think that’s all anyone remembers at the end of the day.

Let me guess, we lost a close hard fought game.

Give me the win every day of the week and twice on Sunday

There’s a reason we only threw the ball that many times. About 33% of the time we complete the pass to the other team. Once when a tight end was standing 13 yards in front of us wide open, but we chose to throw to the covered receiver that we watched from the time they left the line of scrimmage. We appear to be so completely fook’d at QB. We make the other team 35 points better by our deficiency at the helm. It’s a cancer at Nu.
That may be true, but TCU just threw the ball 41 times and ran the ball for 262 yards. Less passing and more running and TCU wins the game and prevents CU from about 2 or more ball possessions.

If Satt and Rhule can't figure that out next week,oh baby.

It's their identity I don't like most of the Big 12 's defensive mindsets. It's a shootout league for the most part. Gotta applaud CU 's defense for stepping up and TCU's QB missed wide open guys.

The only hope Nebraska has is rushing for near or more than 300 yards. Problem is, can the defense do much damage to cu? Tall order.

You have to admit that Deion brought a lot of excitement back to CU and now recruits will see it as a fun place to play if this continues . Already people on reddit are making memes about how screwed we are next week. What offense would you rather play in? One where you can pass for 500 yards or one were you have to be the leading rusher?

I wonder what it feels like to win your first game on the road with a new head coach ? I bet you feel really good and excited for the future.

It doesn't matter if you have a really good QB and surround him with studs at the skill positions.
That’s one way to do it too. But Rhule did neither. Neither Great coaches with experience that will challenge him nor excellent overhaul of talent. He did neither. He’s doing it his way, which his way historically means losing

And FYI Colorado staff is ful of veterans with excellent resumes that don’t just tie back to friends of the coach. Check the staff before you discount it

Winners hire winners. Losers hire 23 year olds that coach is daddy’s friend

Better hope they spend it on players. Because damn.
they can't.

they'll put it in their pockets and build more facilities in a decade while the actual football conferences continue to stockpile trophies.

never thought I'd be jealous of CU but here we are

Huskers have slow receivers versus the Buffs strength on D with good DBs. Huskers have shown no pass rush since Suh and Gregory. Give the Sanders kid all day with his fast receivers and quick small running back and it could get UGLY really fast. Hope not.

I want to see if/what changes the staff makes for CU. NU can run on them and MIGHT be able to hurt them when they jam the box to stop the run. The staff is as much to blame for the loss as the players due to some really stoooooooopid plays that were called and so I'm really more interested in how they react than the team.

Definitely didn't intend to minimize anything about Colorado's staff. Hats off to them.

And when Nebraska beat Colorado in Coach Prime’s first home game, what are you gonna say then?

Well we didn't, we lost What does next week got to do with my question.
What did my question ask? It had nothing to do with this week. What are you going to say when Nebraska beat Colorado next week in Coach primes first home game?

Simple question
