They are 24-10 over the last 3 seasons, with 2 MAC East division titles and 2 bowl victories. They have a winning culture, which is sorely lacking in some other places.

On the flip side, they have an entirely new coaching staff and they lost 10 kids to the portal.

Their o line RB and d lines and LBs look legit. It’s looking like a tough game to me. Shoot they’d probably give Illinois all they could handle!

In fairness, they are playing Wagner. Wagner played two games in the spring. None last fall. They lost to Duquesne 17-0, and Bryant University 27-7. Not exactly a stellar opponent.

Let’s see how we deal with Fordham. We aren’t exactly a stellar opponent ourselves.

Buffalo's previous head coach must be even better than we give him credit for. Buffalo is good.

Did any of you ever believe there would be a day when Buffalo or Fordham would put fear into the hearts of Husker fans? Strange days indeed.
