It looks like a very doable path to the title game.

I went the opposite.

We struggled to beat Illinois at home. Granted, wasn't our best day and they played great. Can they replicate that in what would be their 3rd game in 3 days?

Michigan St. always gives us fits. I was at the game against them early in Carver and we played pretty well. Still, will be a tough game.

Michigan will be mad about getting drubbed just a few weeks back. That will give them plenty of motivation.

If not, I'm sure Brenda wants another shot at us while they are more healthy.

UCLA is a totally different beast and you said get to the title, not win it.

Would you rather they play Maryland, Minnesota or Ohio State?
"Doable" is relative in the BTT.

I'd like our chances in a rematch against Illinois. They're not going to make 9 straight 3pt shots again, especially on tired legs in their 3rd game in 3 days. Mich State would be tougher.

Well, it is a post season tourney so there are going to bre some tough games. But Iowa could face teams they have already beaten to advance to the final. That's doable to me.

How about Iowa/UCLA cruise to the championship game, both agree to play regular rotations to half time, then rest your top 7 and roll subs through the 2nd half. Get the competitive juices going but also get some rest for the more important push. And subs get great experience. (UCLA is a rough matchup for most teams and if Iowa is going to potentially beat them once this season I'd prefer it be the end of the month instead of now)

((Or UCLA could just lose game 1 and the Hawks could roll through everyone getting rest/bench experience along the way))

That's match fixing! Bloody murder! It's like the World Cup's final group stage games back in the days... ;)

What would you say our chances are at winning a B1G CHAMPIONSHIP!!!??? ;)
Will Betts get called every time she hooks a defender in the lane? If so, she'll foul out in the first quarter. If not, what's a defender supposed to do?

If the game is called fairly, I like Iowa's chances against UCLA. But, of course, that's the biggest IF in basketball.

Iowa is much improved since the last time they faced UCLA. Iowa is a deep and young but experienced team that has gained confidence the old-fashioned way, by earning it against quality opposition. The Hawkeyes need not fear anyone in a fair fight.

I like the optimism, but UCLA is a lot more than one player this year. Their starting 5 and first player off the bench are all seniors who will be hearing their names called in the draft this spring (assuming there is one.)

Betts had a poor offensive game yesterday and they still beat USC by 23 on the road.
