BTN and the Iowa game

My cable provider is Spectrum and I have 3 BTN channels - they mostly show the same event/show.

When the game before the Iowa game went into overtime, does anyone know why we got moved over to the Fox Sports App instead of one of the other BTN channels? Is it because some providers only have one BTN channel or some other reason? Just curious.

Every time that showed Rutgers for a few moments, something bad was happening. Can't help the earlier game going into OT, but it was frustrating.

They only use the overflow channels during football season. Not sure why.
