Actually I think the first round proved that. Most people thought it was a balanced league, indicative of a bunch of teams with a shot to advance a round. Indication of that is that the 2 of the 3 highest B1G seeded teams lost convincingly, while the lowest 4 seeded teams all won.

This weekend is to see if the conference is actually above snuff (sounds like a legit term to me), as any more than 1 team advancing would exceed expectations. Right now, we're at full snuff.

It wasn't a bad opening, but they figured to be in most of the first-round games. The low seedings the B1G got this year gives them a host of tough Round of 32 opponents (Gonzaga, Villanova, Kansas etc.), so the weekend might not go as well.
