Any chance he is a one and done player? I would kind of love that on one hand, hate it on another.
Most back-end 5 stars aren’t one and done. When you’re rated 23rd in your recruiting class, you’re not projected to be a 1st round pick after one year of college.

Doesn’t mean he can’t blow up in his senior year of HS or his freshman year at NU and become a lotto pick. But the odds would say he’s likely not one and done.

I do not normally follow Nebraska Basketball but I will definitely give this news a solid thumbs up because Husker Nation needs it!!

Weird to be more excited about basketball than football, during football season. If Coach can’t turn Nebrasketball around, no one will.

You better pray he is one and done if you want anymore to head to Nebraska. In the long run its a good thing if the kid goes and gets paid. It will be a very bad thing if he has to hang around multiple years. Other top prospects will notice real quick.

Holy overreaction. Yeah if he blows up and is a lottery pick it’d be great for the program. But no, it’s not a “he better be one and done or else we’re doomed” situation.

Look up the kids ranked in his vicinity for the last few classes. Most average 5-8 points their freshman year. Some of those kids elect to go pro based purely on raw talent. That’d be the worst case scenario: he has an okay freshman year but leaves anyways and gets drafted in the 2nd round.

The teams winning championships are winning with kids that are great talents but not so great that they’re one and done.
