The pressure/storyline definitely effected him more so than coach cal. In fact that should be one thing coach is praised for is the way he gets along/respects former players, even ones who’ve left for other places.

He should transfer back for next year 😂😂

Wed be better with him IF Cal let him play ….
Cal did let him play early in the year. He didn’t produce had one good game. Overall, he was not reliable. Good kid. He is helping himself at Providence. Could have been a starter this year had he stayed. His choice

Lame. Be the bigger man. Sometimes things work out well when it isn't a perfect fit.

Nope. Not until pirate fans stop bashing our own players. Why should we be expected to not bash him? I think he signed a NIL deal with the cry baby toy franchise after that performance n the handshake line. I'm gonna buy my son a deluxe Hopkins wailer version when available.

I missed it, what did he do in the handshake line?

I mean...the main thing is last year he didn't look like he does now. Higher body fat %. Not that I'm one to talk but he was not the athlete he is this year.

He had one good game that we wouldn’t have won without him. Then Cal said he would get more PT after that. But Cal didn’t play him. I would have bolted too.

Crying pretty hard. Felt bad for him.

Nah. He left. He let a bum like Ca******* take his experience and **** sandwich him into a loser. That’s nonsense.

Learn a lesson. Don’t F with Kentucky no matter who the coach is. You want glory? You want to live past your accomplishments? Stick it out and bet on UK.

He didn’t do that and now he’s going home to shop at target with his mom.

It’s a sad reality, but it’s real nonetheless.

How you doin Michael?

Yeah, and Cal mentioned that recently, sounds like he was lazy in the gym and with his food habits. Cal expected him to get in shape and when he didn't, he wasn't awarded any time over KB and Top. He would have been better than Livingston this year though. I think he would have beaten him out for the starter slot if he had just applied himself here, but he needed a change of venue and seems to be doing well. I don't think he is anything like The Dragon or Cam What's-his-name though, seems like a great kid.

Oh I totally agree with everything. Just felt bad for him for like 5 minutes. I'm good. Went to cardiologist and was diagnosed with bradycardia, any heartbeat lower than 60. Mine was in the 30s to much so I'm getting a pacemaker on the 27th. Hope all is well with you my friend.

The harder it is the better. There’s a purpose to it all. Read the Bible in an open field away from churches and people. There’s a lot more meaning to your existence than it seems. Give it a try.

What you have is a testimony. There are many people that need it, you probably just need to hear the message to be able to relay it.

I'm not sure Bryce could start for the SEC teams that went to the NCAA. He sure as heck wouldn't have been all conference like he was in the Big East. He's a solid player, but nothing special IMO.

I barely noticed him on the court.

After all the hoopla, had you told me #22 was Bryce Hopkins, I would have believed it.

I would have taken him every day of the week and twice on Sunday at the 3 this year. I like the kid and he has talent.

Agreed. And it was his. But he quit then was salty all year while Cal and the staff never said anything but glowing praise for him. He's a quitter and I hope he enjoys the rest of the tournament from home. He could have fought Livingston for the 3 spot and probably won.

It's amazing how many absolutely pathetic posters there are on this board. And they are usually the ones starting threads.
