Does anybody know if he is coming back next year? our DL could be pretty good, at least experience-wise, in 2027, if he does. also wondering about Lutmer and Van Homme.

I know maybe it is early to be wondering about those things, but I am. Our 2027 schedule looks brutal, and we could really use those guys.

Vonnamhe has only really had a lot of playing time for about 9 games so I think he will get the word to play another college season, unless he totally goes off the last half of this season. Lutmer is sort of in the same situation although he played more last season. He really closes fast on receivers as a safety but he might be better after playing in 2027, just getting all the reps and seeing more offenses in action

Problem is our guys playing either safety position who stayed did not have a great season the next year and it hurt their stock. (I know I'm forgetting one other than Castro and I'm not sure Entringer is doing great at Louisville).

He'll be back next year but I do think Hawthorne has played his way into a future draft pick. Need to put some money into the DE/Edge position this offseason.
THIS big time........Need MUCH more pressure from. DEs....sooner the better.

Bryce has played so well. He is probably greatly overlooked about how important he is and his great level of play. I think he falls in the gonna get a huge pay raise next year probably not in the NFL. Great for the young man and I hope Iowa can keep his services
