I fully expect a mod to change this topic title but I had to do it.

I was actually thinking Radford was here in NJ. But I was confusing it with Ramapo

Head Coach at Radford has ties to Team Rio, the AAU team Antoine played for, hence the odd connection/selection of school

Wow, I had no idea his stock dropped that much. Hopefully he turns into a player

No idea where this school even is or what conference... oof
Virginia. Radford, Virginia to be specific. They had three 20+ win seasons in a row until the past two seasons.

Big South Conference iirc.

The current head coach, this will be his second season, recruited Bryan Antoine to Florida so he's had a relationship with Antoine and his family for years.

And his brother, his assistant at Redford, recruited Ja Morant to Murray State.

And his brother, his assistant at Redford, recruited Ja Morant to Murray State.
Nichols' brother might have helped in the Ja Morant recruitment. I think everyone on the Murray State staff back then, down to the team managers, claim that they recruited Morant.

But it was James Kane, now an assistant at Dayton, who found Morant and built a relationship with him and his mom.

Kane saw Morant n an auxiliary gym at a camp, by chance, & in two minutes knew he was special.
