This is why I don't miss playing them. The school is about the 4th most popular option in the city that bares the school's name. It has way too much of an urban commuter school with no fan support.

Supposedly Pitt FB is on its way up
I dont see it in recruiting but they do have a good to great HC.
With the supposed increase in ACC revenue Pitt can maybe finally keep their HC
But....., on the other hand the ACC has cracks in their conference structure and the amount of great players out of Western PA is on a decline.
So I truthfully do not see 10 win seasons in their future

They will continue their 37 years of mediocrity nothing is going to change give them one win every couple years to hang their hats on no admin support to achieve and maintain athletic success. Their ADs change almost as much as their football coaches. Revolving door. The fact that Hurley is stringing them a long after a generous offer speaks volumes as to the desirability of that job. Stallings got 2 years, and now they are trying to get out of paying him the buyout. They literally have no players and play in the Acc your talking 2 to 3 years to get decent. Pitt athletics is a dumpster fire.
Sorry for my repeat thread, didn't know this was the same topic. Funny thing is the City Game and how that is nothing on level with the one in Cincinnati.
Cincinnati is college basketball heaven with 2 legit schools that excellent like U of Cincinnati and Xavier. Good for them I’m sure it’s enjoyable there.
