California, Mississippi State, and LSU (I'll give UNLV a break since they at least have some history.) land 5-star players, no one bats an eye. Yet the school with 8 National Championships and more wins than anyone else in college basketball history has to "pay players" to get anyone. Well what the frick's been going on this off-season, is everyone else suddenly handing out max deals?

I agree. Murray isn't coming to Kentucky. This whole spring recruiting season has been a colossal tease and an epic failure.

Brown would have help Kentucky...but you have a very strong class joining Poy and Lee. It's not a NIT season next year. You guys had a rough April, it only gets better from here. See you on Jan-30 in the Big12/SEC Challenge.

Years ago if we had the same class everybody would be excited.what it tells me is that pritty much our coach may be gone. I hate to say it but writing is on the wall. SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
. I talked to Shareef once at a tournament 3 or 4 yrs ago and asked him why he hadn't chosen a bigger school. His reply was that not everyone wants to play under the scrutiny that u have at a school like Ky or Duke . I think Brown falls in that category! Just my take.

He just seemed like a West Coast guy to me from the beginning. Cal's program and coach may not be the best, but that area of California is pretty nice way to spend a year of college.

Hey, I understand. I don't like losing either. A lot of Kansas fans have nothing but respect for Kentucky. I know it doesn't feel good now, but Kentucky will be Kentucky next year. You will compete for a NC. I know a lot of Kentucky fans wouldn't, but I consider Cal part of the Jayhawk family. And he will always have my respect.
