gave you one of maybe 5 "likes" I've handed out since the format change for using "complement" instead of "compliment". Give ya a gold star if I had one. I'd let ya be in front of the line on the way to recess if I saw ya say "Couldn't care less" opposed to "could care less".

You know, I really could care less who you give out gold stars to. And that's not meant as a complement.

Jason, you're too kind.......

I hear on KSR where we've offered a 6'6" guy who's committed to NCState....what does that say about Jaylen?

That would be the worst rebounding team in basketball. They might be fun to watch in certain matchups, but no way that team makes any noise in March.

The Michigan team that lost to UofL in'13 NCAA title game started Burke 6' 0" with Tim Hardaway Jr., Glenn Robinson III, and Nick Stauskas all of them 6'6" and none of them over 220lbs. Next season will be Walton 6'0", Irvin 6'6", LeVert 6'7" and Brown 6'7" if they land him. The '14 team that lost to UK in the elite 8 started Walton, LeVert, Stauskas,Robinson and all of them played over 30 minutes. They got out rebounded by 12 against UK in a 3 pt loss and got out rebounded by UofL by 5 in a 6 pt loss.

Michigan plays a lot of 1 in and 4 out so the lineup would most likely include Brown, LeVert, Irvin and either Albrecht or Derrick Walton who like LeVert is also returning from injury. If they find someone to play inside with them they will have a very good team with that lineup

The 13 Michigan team had Mitch McGary who was probably the best big man in the country in March. It would take a big of that caliber paired with four guards to make a run. Michigan's bigs are average to below average. Nobody on the team outside of LeVert and Irvin averaged over 5 rebounds a game last year. Doesn't mean he won't pick Michigan though. This class is weird.

There is a link called Jaylen Brown rumors over on Scout, but I don't have an account there. If someone does, they could check it out.

Define "make some noise". A lineup of Walton (Jr.) / LeVert (Sr.) / Irvin (Jr.) / Brown (Fr.) / Doyle (Sr.) is more athletic and betting rebounding than the 2013/2014 team that won the Big Ten outright and made the Elite 8.

I haven't read it but the "gurus" at Inside Carolina say UK is out with Brown.I'm hearing this from people that post there. Now how they know or should I say think they know is anyone's guess.

I have not read the posts from which you refer, but my guess is it is speculation based on the recent offer Cal made to the young man from Carolina---today. Maybe someone over there knows the young man or his coach. Maybe they have talked to either one about the circumstances in which Cal has offered. I really have no idea. OR, they could be guessing like the rest of us. I am of the camp that we need help on the wing. I welcome anyone Cal thinks can help us there---provided they are willing to come. Personally, Brown would be ideal IMO. However, this other young man has me intrigued as well. Can you ever be too athletic?

Yeah the '13 team had McGary who suffered a season ending injury 8 games into the '14 season. The '14 elite 8 team went with Jordan Morgan, who was 6'8", the rest of the season and he averaged 6.4 pts and 5 rebs. The '13 team went deeper in the tourney when McGary got hot but they were a better team in '14 with Morgan. The '14 team finished ranked higher and won the Big Ten, the '13 team finished 4th in the conference. If they find someone to give them the production Morgan gave them then they would be very good with that lineup. With Brown they should be better than they were in either '13 or '14 if they can find someone to contribute anything inside. it's an unconventional line up but Beilein has been making it work recently at UM.
