Brooks averaged 20 ppg for one if the top high school teams in the country. Serious scorer!

UK is gonna have an ***explosive*** offense next year.

maxey, whitney, allen, brooks is one hell of a perimeter imo. i can see where hagans fits, but not as much baker. big get by kentucky. we have athleticism up the *** next year. richards and ej will only be stronger or faster (after seeing what the staff did for pj) and we should be great. of course i picked next year to be the year.

Where Baker fits is playing a ton next season. Unless, UK brings in one or two graduate transfers or takes a recruit from one of the programs facing NCAA problems, UK will have little choice but to play Baker - and play him a lot. Even if Hagans comes back, you simply can't play effectively with 3 guards. So, lets hope Baker gets his confidence going - at least by next season - because I think that's probably his biggest obstacle right now.

I think he'll play the 4 out of necessity, unless we get a couple more big men.

Right now it's looking like Montgomery and Richards will be our only big men.

We need a McDaniels, or a reclassified Todd and/or Dante or we will have to play small ball most of the time with only two guys at 6'10+.

Man again that cap scared me. The color plus I was looking for the white Uk and couldn't make the old school logo out and thought for a second that's an F-ing Memphis hat LMFAO!

Still didn't really answer my question lol. What class is he in? I can't find him on Rivals. He's 6'8 right?

I thought Allen was a 2 and Whitney is a 3? But Herro will be the starting 2 if he comes back?
Yes I did I said 2019 . So I exactly answered your question LOL and Allen is a not a 2 at all. He can't handle the ball well enough for a college 2. Whitney would be the 3 if Herro or Hagans came back but both are gone . IMO the starting 5 will be Maxey/Whitney/Brooks/Mcdaniels/Richards

I don't believe that Whitney would start at the 2 on any top Div. I team next season. Unless, you just hate the idea of a good flowing offense. In fact, I believe Allen is much closer to being able to play the 2 than Whitney.

The old adage: "Player X can play 3 positions" is generally a load of crap. Yeah, they might be able to technically "play" a position, but that doesn't mean they can do it well - or in a manner most beneficial for the team. It's important to put guys in positions where they can best succeed. Whitney's skill set looks really nice at SF.

Agree. Brooks would actually be closer to being able to play some 2 kind of like Knox. I don't think he could stay with other 2's defensively tho.

Is he in any all star games? Jordan? I don’t think the mcds has been announced yet
Jordan has already been announced, and Brooks was selected! He was not picked for McDonald’s. I got mixed up

2019 and he’s more of a face up four with some ability to handle on the outside than a wing forward right now. Likely comes off the bench since his lower body is very weak and struggled through contact. Very good scorer though with a killer mid range and bounce. He’s always only 6’6 and a half or a hair under 6’7 (6’5 and a half when he was measured this year)
Evidently you have not seen the kid play. If you have then you don't know how to evaluate talent.
