Anyone read this? Skimmed it. At least one thing stands out as odd to me. He mentions a playoff in May, with the Power 5 conference champs and a wildcard. For right now, that's not a thing, but he has a backup option in there.

Also modifies the fall 21 schedule, again...not applicable to three of the P5 conferences right now.

Wonder if he knows something.

We need the coaches to come up with a plan, because no one has faith in the B1G leadership to do it.

Not sure if serious. Brohm is a coach. Day has also submitted a plan.
That was my point. Coaches like Brohm and Day feel like they need to propose plans, because no one has faith in the B1G powers that be to figure this thing out.

Flores doesn’t get it, and never will. He is a lost cause.

this isn't Brohm's or Frost's or Day's idea. they see the writing on the wall as to what this means for the future of not only their programs but college football as a whole.

they are begging and pleading a group who resent their very existence for dollars they need to survive.

B1G is done for in football at least until Fall 2021. Spring season will never happen unless they try to have an "exhibition" type game or two just to try to save face. Doubt that even that happens.

Kudos to coach brohm for not sitting idle and preparing a plan!

These are a bunch of alphas...they won't leave to chance what they can influence. While not every coach has as detailed a plan as Brohm I would expect several to have worked out a framework they can bring to the league. They already were working on scenarios for a modified fall over the summer.

They’re amongst the highest paid public employees in their respective states.

Literally hundreds rely on their ability to fulfill their end of lucrative contracts to survive.

This isn’t the work of ‘alphas’. This is what an industry on the brink looks like.

Airlines have plenty of provisions for disaster. You don’t see a CEO until there’s a fiery crash.

Agreed - the "Spring football season" idea being floated frankly just sounds like a soothing lie the Big 10 is telling to buy themselves time before having to drop the full hammer and admit they are cancelling the 2020 football season.

Saying it was cancelled opened the door for Nebraska to say they were looking at playing anyway as the Big Ten was no longer holding up their end of the rights agreement, if it's postponed it closes that door and they can just cancel later when it's no longer feasible for Nebraska (or anyone else) to make other arrangements.

You can’t play a meaningful season in spring and turnaround and play a full season in fall. It’s nonsensical and won’t happen. Hoping for a normal schedule next fall with all power 5 conferences aligned.
