Any inside Intel. Had high hopes for him but haven't heard much about him.
He will never be a factor in my opinion. Another highly recruited guy who is a bust.
Edit: But you never know. He could come out of hiding to have an impact.

Too early to judge an OL. Most lineman coming out of HS need a few years at the training table/weight room. Iowa wanted him. They know what to look for in OL. Give Geep some time to maximize his potential. Plus it’s not easy right now with unlimited transfers. There are always seniors coming in that underclassmen have to beat out.

In Brix’s case he had never learned to pass block in his life prior to arriving at NU

Damn man. HE’s A SOPHOMORE. He’s vying for depth chart position with older guys including to multiple experienced portal players. Give him a chance to mature a little.

A third year sophomore who is buried on the depth chart behind very mediocre transfers. Not buying any hype. The kid has done nothing that screams out “up and coming talent”. I hope he proves me wrong. But my honest opinion is that he is just a perennial third teamer. Good for depth but not much else.

He should have gone to Iowa. He could have been somebody. You guys notice how most Iowa kids are just never heard from again when they chose Nebby? Do you also notice how Nebraska kids without a Nebby offer go to Iowa and excel? Why is that?
Head back to the Clarkeyes site and practice waving your hand.

very mediocre transfers? Which ones are those? Gottula maybe beating out Tree doesn’t necessarily mean Tree is very mediocre. Gottula is a pretty damned good lineman who went most of the season with injuries until he couldn’t go anymore. That dude has my respect. Give these guys a chance.

Black and Pritchett will both likely be on NFL rosters next year.

You don’t want to answer his question? I guess it can be answered in one word…development.
What percentage of Iowa or any college program’s O line recruits actually pan out? If you hit on 1 out of 3-4 you’re probably doing well. The fact that NU’s evaluation and recruiting of high school O linemen has left something to be desired over the past doesn’t mean the Hawks are great. Donovan didn’t get it done at a high enough level. We admit that. It’s changing. Now go kiss your sister some more.

"It's changing"?
Based on what....HOPE?

Husker's OLine really can't get much worse and if Backwards Cap gets fired in 1/2 years, Geep will be gone as well.

"Hoping" isn't a strategy.

You must realize how silly of an argument this is. "Hoping" is what all but a handful of teams do each year.

Are Husker fans "hoping" for the first decent O-line in a decade? Of course. Will they be disappointed? Maybe.

Meanwhile its been 20 years since Iowa had even a share of a conference crown. But you wont consider it "hope" that your fan-base has the expectations of such.

Logical.

Hope has different meanings for different teams.
Hope for Hawkeye fans might be making the CFP, when 8/9 wins is expected.

Hope for Husker fans would be an average OLine and qualifying for a bowl game.

That's where these two teams are.

K. Now tell me how that statement is a response to your previous post. Where you shamed Husker fans for "hoping". Ya know. The thing your fan base is doing as well.

If you're going to **** post over here, at least bring some game.

Reread my post..."hope for Hawkeye fans MIGHT".

That's stating if they're hoping at all.
Hoping is not expecting.

Up your own game.

So now your point has shifted to Hawkeye fans...might have hope?

Just run along already. This low effort troll based on an argument you clearly dont even have a handle on is worth no one's time.

8 wins vs. 6 wins in this league mean nothing. It means Iowa can beat like the 10th best team in the conference and Nebraska can't. Who cares? Both programs are lame...Nebraska is pathetic because of its historic decade long incompetence, Iowa is lame because of its "we can't do better than Ferentz" attitude...which is horrible in a competitive sport. At least NU has tried something that might pan out...people at Nebraska are just too stupid to get the job done.

That’s an interesting question on Iowa’s “hit vs miss” rate on the percentage of Iowa o-line recruits that have historically “panned out”? An internet search shows that over the last 10 years…based on an historical evaluation of draft results…points to Iowa’s elite success rate of roughly 70% to 80% for developing multi-year college starters and/or NFL prospects. Many of these o-lineman had unheralded high school profiles.

Now you can go kiss your sister. 😜

Don't bother showing facts to the Husker fan base. They'll get a migraine.
Relief is on the way.
Have you seen all the 4*/5* recruits they're getting?

Southwest Iowa is Husker country.

It’s a mystery along the same lines as why Iowa has never won a championship? Iowa is happy with 8 wins each season. Hot nebraska women who move to Iowa stay hot but hot Iowa women who move ….. oops sorry hot Iowa women don’t exist
