Curious who thinks he can make it in the nba?
He is tough as nails,and very strong.
But at 6'2" IMO you have to be very quick/fast and agile.You also have to have a outside shot. I see him struggling to play with the length in the nba. (thoughts!)
My thinking is he needs to RS and put on 15# and play MLB for stoops to get a big money contract.. I would love to see him give LB a try!
Love his will/heart and toughness but am thinking it'l be a struggle to make a roster!

Don't think so. If he were 6'9 with his skill set, definitely. In the end he's just too short to make up for a lack of athleticism and he can't shoot. He's the poster child for All American 4 year college player. Wish he'd realize it but if that's what he wants then that's what he wants.

He will not be able to score in the NBA..He can only make layups the NBA centers will make him eat leather ..He's 6'2 and can't jump over a phone book.He could be a great college player if he wanted to stay 4 years and work his *** off..In HS I've seen him one hand tomahawk..he looks like its all he can do is one hand dunk.now.I think he's fat and needs to drop 20lbs..

Briscoe was born in ky and is the most superist guard , gets to the rim at will , is top four in 3% on the team . Best defender on team , has triple double and almost two which means he makes others better . Leader of team , strong stocky player will have long injury free NBA career .

As a Nets fan I hope we draft him in the 2nd and bring him back to the area. Atkinson is known as a player developer and he wont be expected to contribute right away. Last year we drafted 2 guards and signed Lin in FA so he will be given time to develop. Think it'd be a good fit. I could see him earning a role as a solid backup PG for a team in a couple years. Hes never fully been given the reigns either so id be interested to see what he can do if he is on a NBADL team as the lead guy. Shot should improve and hes strong and crafty enough to get in the lane. If his interior passing improves he could be an asset to a team.

Maybe he is too short to guard 6'7'' small forwards as he is forced to do every game. Same for going inside on offense. He's a hell of a player asked to do too much. But, if you look at his stats he is doing a pretty good job for the load , at small forward, we have put on him.

Instead of complaining maybe we should appreciate him more. Who else on this team would do as well?

odds are that late in the 2nd round you wont find someone who is an impact guy. Like I said though, hes a guy you put in the NBADL or let develop under coach Kenny who is a good developmental coach. Briscoe isn't totally hopeless. He has some skills that translate, just needs to improve that jumper. He'll never be a starter, but he can get spot minutes to relieve other guys. Given the aftermath of what was the worst trade in NBA history, the Nets are setting themselves up to improve in the future. Solid staff, drafted well last year... There is no room for error in the rebuild but they cant get much worse haha.

Footballer in a basketball world. I could see him playing LB, RB, FS, SS, maybe even CB or WR.

As is, I just don't see him making an impact in the NBA. He may hang on a couple years, spent mostly int he D league. I'm sure he can make a ton overseas though. That doesn't mean he isn't a remarkable college player, because he is!

Keep at it man. I f***** up my life pretty good and went back. The one good thing you've got going is maturity. I found that aspect easier when I returned. I returned to community college then to a bible school then to Memphis. Managed two diplomas. In total I spent 12 years obtaining them and now I own a trucking business and don't use them. LOL. wild life.

Briscoe is a fabulous college player. And I love the kid.

But I really believe that even if the NBA had three rounds, he would go undrafted.

He's not quick enough to play the one, nor does he have the handle. And he certainly can't shoot well enough to play the two. He's not tall enough to play the three. There's just not a spot for him.

If your post only referred to NBA projections, then none. However, my opinion is he is highly unappreciated for what he is being asked to do while here and that is all we know anything about.

Briscoe's shot has changed the way people perceive his entire game. If his shot mechanics were smooth and he could fill it up, none of these other so called weaknesses would be mentioned. The guy can't jump out of the gym but he certainly doesn't lack ball handling or a quick first step. Otherwise, he wouldn't appear so slippery getting to the basket.
I hope his confident Jersey swag returns and becomes the team identity throughout the tournament. If UK goes on a run in March and Brisco plays well he will get drafted 2nd round.
