Bet $100 with a UNC fan tonight Briscoe would be a better pro than Justin Jackson.

None of it is mental, it's all his form. His form changed from high school to college. On his FT shooting one of his arms is almost completely in front of his face and vision. Nothing mental about that, just terrible form.

Ok Slim Shady, anymore tips?

I'm not going to disagree with the weight training he may have altered his form but the kid went through an incredible period of lack of confidence and looked to be snapping out of it at the end of the season.

Never claimed it was broken. But it's statistically abysmal according to his demonstrated performance on the D1 level at UK. For most fans, that's the performance that matters.

See the problem is, the guy I was talking to claimed his shot was broken, I'm saying he played 4 years of HS with decent stats so one year doesn't mean he can't improve his shot. Now if we disagree on that, I'll live with my opinion.

Lol at the slim shadey comment as if i act anything like that and btw I'm half white, half Native American. I'm also pretty sure every post you've ever made towards me has had a slim shadey reference, so im guessing you have some sort of obsession towards slim shadey or something? Or you're just very unoriginal. All I was pointing out was that it is very untrue saying it is a confidence issue and that in reality it was a change of form issue. Confidence might have a tiny bit to do with it but I'm guessing 90% of it is his arm in front of his face when he shoots, just a guess. Another reason is usually confidence effects all parts of your game. His ability to drive to rim, the fact he never hesitated to take jump shots and looked very confident doing so when open and sometimes contested and the fact he did all the other things well did not indicate a lack of confidence. He's just a really bad shooter, and an even worse free throw shooter.

They do say mobility before stability. I do agree with andre that a lot of it had to do with his training in college. Add that to the fact he wasnt confident and it changes a man. Even in the first few months his body underwent a crazy transformation. Not enough mobility work could have totally forced him to change his form

Lets not act like changing your user name causes everyone to forget who you are/were. Your posts have been much better since football season.

To act as though you are the definitive answer is a bit arrogant.

Even though he won a 3 point contest and shot well enough in high school i dont think he was ever a great shooter. But still much better than what he showed last year.

If it was something as simple as his arm in front of his face I would hope that the 10-11 million we pay each year to a certain group of guys would see this and fix it. IMO it goes beyond mechanics.
