Where do the 'Briscoe hates school' rumors come from? I loved every minute of UK and I didn't walk around with a huge grin all day or go scarfing people's Chic-Fil-A just because or have chicks lined up for blocks.

Briscoe is a point guard who is being asked to play small forward. He won't play small forward next year whether it's here or in the NBA.

Based from posts on this board I wouldn't blame him a bit. Probably the most unappreciated player in the past decade or so. Go to another school, not be used to guard forwards and the other team's best scorer. Leave the idiots behind and enjoy his career. Would seem like a good move and probably get him to the NBA faster. However, he probably realizes that these boards don't represent the intelligent portion of any fan base, of any school, and loyalty plus determination will keep him here.

Personally, I want him back as our point guard.

He may hate school but there is one thing he loves more than he hates school - the NBA. Heck, he just about left last year with no hope of making an NBA roster. It must have been very difficult for him to return to college this year. Very difficult indeed. I think no matter what he's gone after this year and not to another school. He will pursue his dream of playing in the NBA regardless of how uncertain his chances are.

The thing is we all like Briscoe, but the role he's in at UK and the pumping of his game well beyond his means is full retard around here lately.

Having said that I do believe if he plays within himself and doesn't try to be a star he could be a very important piece to a title run.

I'm not a troll I'm just asking what you've heard. I've got no horse in this race!

There's a thread on the Seton Hall Pirates basketball board claiming inside information Briscoe is unhappy and thinking about going back to NY/NJ

If he doesn't play for pay next year he sure isn't transferring to Seton Hall. I didn't even know they still had a team. I haven't heard about them since PJ Carlisemo was their coach.

He's gone, dying to leave last year. I put the blame on Briscoe himself. When you're that close to a practice facility I would be in there every second of my free time practicing 10-12 foot jump shots, putting up at least 500 ft's a day. You gotta want to get better and gotta put in the work to do so. JMO. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever he cant hit a consistent 10-12 foot jump shot!
