Per seton hall board, we seem to at least be making a bid should he decide to transfer. Would be an interesting development for our 2018 roster.

The title made it appear that he already transferred. It would be nice to have him in the folded.

If he sits a year that would be a big get because Williams and Johnson would be gone. Even bigger if Sanders departs after 3 years.

No idea if Rutgers is an option, BUT.....This guy is probably thinking major minutes, Buzz from being a star player and the next level....a few tourney games is probably secondary, but still important. He can get 3 out of 4 at Rutgers and maybe a All First Team Big 10 player.....probably the Big Dance in year 4.

BAC is always positive!
2018-2019, Briscoe, Corey, Baker, Doucoure, and then whoever else we bring in for the 18' class/grad transfers. Wouldn't be that bad of a team.

He transferred in h.s., declared for draft after his frosh yr and now rumors are swirling again? If he doesn't enter draft this year, I see it as unlikely he'd sit a year, then play two more. Not sure it's worth the energy to spend more time thinking about this one.

I would be in shock if he ever came to RU. He and his family had RU & SHU both thinking they had a chance two years ago. When UK came along they jumped immediately. He has struggled big time at UK on the foul line. He thought he would be one & done. That didn't work out and now he is unhappy even though he has been starting as a soph. I doubt he will want to sit out a year. At times when I saw him play in high school (which was many) his body language sent a message like it was all about him. Otis Livingston and his Linden buddies beat him two of three in 2015 and Otis got MVP in the UCT final by scoring I think 28 points and outplaying Isaiah. Otis was a 4.0 student and wanted to get an offer from RU. Eddie blew that one. Personally I would rather have a kid who is fully dedicated to RU and who will probably think about his team first. Isaiah went to school in Union but than chose St. Benedict's for his frosh year before going to Roselle Catholic. It seemed as if his father always thought he was All World. i don't know if he will ever play in the NBA. He is though built like a Mack truck and is very strong in the upper body and will bull his way to the rim. Whatever happens, happens but I doubt he will come to RU.

For example does he have any relationship with coach Knight? I doubt he comes either.

As others have said I think the bigger issue for him is not transferring to RU but sitting out a year. Just don't see it.

Way overblown. Chances of him leaving KU are slim.

Briscoe was told he was NBA talent, one year. He has not achieved that, and might not ever make the NBA unless his shooting soars. He is also 20 pounds overweight as a guard.

Just stating the obvious. No intent to be mean spirited. I hope he makes the NBA, and makes millions.

Briscoe is at UK (Kentucky), KU is Kansas. Not trying to nitpick just trying to avoid confusion.

I just don't see him taking a year off. Although the fact he struggles at free throw line would fit right in at RU.

Oddly enough, he might be looking for an extra year to work on his game.

People rarely think about that as a reason a player transfers. When they get that year, they have an extra year to improve, and some kids really want/need it.

The kid is miserable at Kentucky even though he is playing a lot. Recruited over and then the kids coming in next year. Stepdad and his father are close. Feel bad for what the young man is going through. Fan base turning on him, relationship with coaches deteriorating. Not sure of the chances of him transferring but know he's really messed up mentally out there.

Very good point. If he transfers, I can see him end up at SHU

It's ok to feel bad for him, however he had the chance to be the big fish in NJ at either RU or SHU and he chose not to. These talented kids need to realize they can still make it to the show by proving themselves at smaller, local schools now. It's amazing how that mindset rarely, if ever, changes.
