No offense but Schiano built a team finally ready to win consistently and then punked out. Greg "Perennially 4th place in a horrendous shell of a Big East" Schiano. Move on. BTW - I don't like Ash much either but this revisionist history with GS is a bunch of bull.

The football team is bad, deal with it.
How is jumping to the NFL punking out????

We've been playing football for nearly 150 years, and only one guy has ever proven to be a consistent winner here.

Bring him back.

At all costs.

Money won't be an issue when we're getting $50M/yr in the TV deal. But at this rate, we're not going to have a fanbase left.
This.

Talked to a long time RU fan earlier at the bar watching the Dallas game.

He said its a no brainer to bring GS back.
This guy has been going to RU games since the 50s.

Schiano has to want a head coaching job. Urban's comments indicated he's getting ready to leave. Will be interesting to see what jobs open up and where he could land. Still think BC could be the spot for him. BC has had good success with NJ and Midwest Catholic schools. GS could recruit even better. Would need a good OC, as BC's anemic offense has contributed to lack of interest in program. But new AD is from OSU and Schiano should be able to build a program as successful as Tom O'Brien's.
