I'm a big fan of Brian Ferentz... Hawkeye legend... I hopes he stays
Well his offenses are legendary, I’ll give you that.
Being a legendarily horrible offensive coordinator isn't exactly something to be happy about.

He is the biggest homer/apologist there is. Same on the other site. Believes Petras is a great QB and there is absolutely nothing wrong with Brian or the offense.

The "make or break" year has come and gone. Brian was, is, and will continue to be an abject failure as an OC. The only reason he is still at Iowa is pure arrogance.

FWIW, I agree with you guys, Brian F is possibly the worst OC in the history of OCs, and that's saying a lot from what we have been through lately.
That is what they said last season and it was a MAJOR break for him having the worst P5 offense in all college football...nepotism at it's finest!
IMHO....Cade McNamara doesn't come to Iowa if there is any doubt who the offensive coordinator would be.
The day he announced he was coming to Iowa City should have been the day the "No Change Coming" light went on for Iowa fans.
Perhaps I'm giving Cade more credit than he deserves...and he'd be willing to roll the dice...but I just can't believe that to be the case.

I thought by now we'd have the new seats arranged with budymr at OC and BF at oline...I didn't think there would be anyway kf kept Barnet... didn't think Cade would come unless he knew for a fact his buddy would be his coach... this next season has the markings of a complete dumpster fire....

I know but I think it’s reality. If he loses the law suit he will be fired. If he wins and Iowa has a great year he stays. If average he will go to the nfl. I hope
If he loses this lawsuit then our court system needs burned to the ground.
Lawsuits are won/lost due to evidence and arguments presented, not the system.
