I love the Saints and Brees, but this is too soon. Maybe they know this will be his last chance to play in the playoffs, so they are willing to throw caution to the wind. I don't think anyone thinks he is ready.

Maybe, but qbs play with cracked ribs. Deshaun Watson played with cracked ribs and a colllapsed lung in 2018. Now granted, Watson is younger, but Watson gets hit a lot more than drew. Drew threw the ball well yesterday, and he was cleared by doctors. I have no reason to believe the doctors would put Brees in a dangerous situation.

Yep, and it kills me in fantasy. I've been struggling at QB really ever since losing Dak but had been riding Taysom for the last 3 weeks. So much for that strategy here in the semifinals. Now I'm left either with Goff against the Jets or Hurts against the Cardinals. Any suggestions between the 2 (6 pt passing TDs)?

Mainly because Goff is notorious to quit throwing once the Rams get ahead and I don't look for the Jets to do ANYTHING against the Rams defense. Of course he could throw for 3 or 4 TDs in the first half as bad as the Jets are at pass defense.

Valid points, but I still think with 6 pt passing TD’s you absolutely have to go with Goff. I’m rolling Hurts out there in the same situation you are in (Taysom replacement), except its a 4 point passing TD league. In that case I think it’s more of a 50-50 call.

Lesson learned. Never put your fantasy hopes in the hands of Jared Goff no matter the competition. He sucks. Hurts would have put me through to the finals with ease.

I feel you. I’m probably going to lose due to the Rams defense inexplicably having their worst game in, by far, their best matchup of the season. Fantasy football is a cruel mistress.
