I’m not sure if BradyJames ever posts on this board or not. If so, please tell us what we can do about the current athletics department in regard to Mitch’s new golden job and the hire of the next AD.

We need boosters and regular fans to unite to let our voices be heard before we are over taken by the likes of Missouri and Texas A&M at basketball.

The only thing we can do is keep the pressure on UK. Keep being loud and obnoxious about it too. It bothers them. They called me whining about a post someone else made but blamed me for it.

I’m sorry we are all in this mess. But I don’t think we are getting out of it as long as Eli/Mitch make the decisions.

He has told folks his name online. Now I don’t remember it- but he owns or co-owns a sports memorabilia store in Nashville (I think). I also believe he was on KSR talking about how bad our NIL process was under Cal. He spends quite a bit of money on football.

People do know who he is. When I first took notice of him is when he time and time again helped folks (who otherwise may not have been able to) go to Wildcat games. Always thought that was cool of him to do.

This is incredible. Someone from an athletic department actually calling to reprimand a donor for … posting on a message board is way on up the “only Mitch Barnhart would think this is a good look” list. I desperately wish some hard-hitting journalist would do a true expose’ about the various ways funds are spent, the vibe inside the department, any other stories similar to yours about how tone-deaf this bunch can be, etc. It would probably be more akin to a novel than an article.

I have even have the initial text to prove it. It 100% happened. The funny thing was it wasn’t even me saying or posting. I just responded to it.
