We haven't recruited a top big Man out of high school since Townes. Given Cal still plays the archaic low post offense we HAVE TO HAVE a good big man with offensive skills to be successful. It is not an accident that our last Final 4 appearance was with Towns in the post. Cal has had giant whiffs at the position since. He needs to recruit a good one for this class or change his offense. If he does neither he will be looking for a new job in a couple of years

A factor we all gotta consider is that when it comes to teenagers, they can be mad at each other one day and be best friends the next. We’ve all seen that happen and a situation like that could have started that rumor. Regardless, I hope we get both players to commit to our program and I hope the rumors are false

It's like we're trying too hard to do "right" by the players. But like Joe Dirt says, "This ain't UNICEF".. this is a business. The top priority isn't player feelings and wants.. its building the best team you can. Make the players decide.

It’s been like that from the beginning. Cal catering to these kids to the point where the players have most of the control. Recruiting has always been hard, but each year, the "what can you do for me" thought process gets worse.

Wasn't one of the reasons Wiggins didn't come to UK, despite being a UK lean forever, was that he didn't want to play with Julius Randle? I am sure the duffle bag of money from Adidas helped also but they're mutual dislike was the rumor at the time.
