Heard Jay Wright’s wife has been asking about realtors in Lexington. Just saying. 😉

Did you get his plane's tail numbers? I have a new app that tracks all flights.

A friend of mine saw Mitch Barnhart stepping on board this Boston bound flight...

Dude.. we've agreed several times, maybe ALL the time, when it comes to politics.. but holy **** man. Get it together.

And Brad Stevens isn't leaving the Boston Celtics.

Further, is he our savior? Two runner-ups are great (just as Cal has two-runner ups, with a title), but he did it with the same team, with Butler somehow getting a guy in Gordon Hayward who is WAY out of Butler's league.

What were his other years, outside of that team? two opening round losses, 2nd round loss, and a CBI Invitational. Before he bailed to the NBA.

Guy's a great coach. And he'd for sure get more resources here. But we continue to pick and choose these random time frames of other coaches.. like "Beard had these two good years!" or "Jay Wright won those years!"

I guess were going to have to take a stab at someone soon. But to think Brad Stevens or Beard or Wright, or anyone, is somehow going to get us back to the 40's/50's.. or Ricky P's little run.. is foolish.
I don't know who we'd go after but there just doesn't appear to be anyone in the College ranks that would be a viable candidate for the UK job. You have a few "flash in the pans" but that doesn't equate to long term success at a program such as ours' (see BCG). May have to go after someone like John Beilein in the NBA who's sick of dealing with players who run the team. I'm only throwing out his name as an example and not promoting him.

I can tell you this.. anyone who thinks they have "the answer" to this question is flat out foolish. Those are the types who are just throwing darts, blindfolded.

There is no simple answer because we're Kentucky. The demands and expectations are naturally very high and it would be a tough search to find the right guy. Makes you respect coaches like Joe B. even more. I don't know how he handled the unrealistic expectations.

Ha, my dad is 67. You type much better than he does. He remarried and he has a 5 and an 8 year old, that are his. Imagine that. lol.

A 33 year old (34 in two weeks), a 7 year old, and a 5 year old. Guy is nuts.
Got to give the man credit. I had a relative that was 81 and got his 26 year old housekeeper pregnant after his wife died. Hope I got some of those genes.

I think you need a good dose of "Sensitivity Training". My wife told me recently that I needed to work on my "people skills'". lol
Screw people skills and the people who suggest them. And I don’t really care what other people think of me. If you’re confident with your life, nobody’s opinion matters.. if not, then that’s another question.

LOL, I'm with you; I was being sarcastic. One of the reasons I retired this year was because I got tired of having that BS being forced on you at every turn.

Everyone laughs at this comma but I'd literally give Brad Stevens 30M to coach this team. He's that good.

Theyre probably laughing at it because you’re acting like it’s your money but all youre doing is wanting to pay someone an insane amount with someone else’s money. I’d let UK pay a supermodel 5 million to have sex with me, everyone laughs at that but I’m dead serious!

Call him up. If you can afford to pay him that much then you should be able to afford Cal's buyout. I'm sure UK would be fine with not having to pay a coach's salary.

They could be laughing because most people use this , instead of spelling it out.

I mean Mitch is paying 10M to Cal a year for the next 10 years. Why do you care what UK does with their money? And wanting to pay a the best coach in the game a lot of money isn't comparable to you "banging a super model".
